The move was taken to allow the city to proceed with planned work at the intersection of West Michigan Avenue and Stadium Drive. The city will reconfigure the intersection by altering existing roads and creating a new road in the vicinity of the current intersection. The new road will be built on the property transferred to the city. The university will incur no costs for the project. Media contact: Cheryl Roland, 269 387-8400, cheryl.roland@wmich.edu WMU News |
