WMU HOME > ABOUT WMU > WMU NEWS WFS presents "Kinsey" this weekend at Little TheatreFeb. 23, 2005 KALAMAZOO--Western Film Society presents the Kalamazoo debut of "Kinsey," starring Liam Neeson and Laura Linney, Feb. 25-27 at Western Michigan University's Little Theatre. Showtimes for "Kinsey" are Friday and Saturday, Feb. 25-26, at 7 and 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 27, at 2:30 and 5 p.m. Admission is $5 or $3 for students. "Kinsey" is the latest drama from Academy Award-winning writer/director Bill Condon. The film stars Neeson as Alfred C. Kinsey, the researcher whose 1948 book "Sexual Behavior in the Human Male" sparked great societal interest into the intimate aspects of people's lives. Kinsey's scientific examination of sexual behavior also provoked intense controversy, one that still rages on today. Linney is nominated for a 2005 Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her portrayal of Clara McMillen, Kinsey's wife and former student. The film also stars Peter Sarsgaard and Chris O'Donnell. The Little Theatre is located at the corner of Oakland Drive and Oliver Street on Western Michigan University's East Campus. Free off-street parking is located behind the theatre.
