WMU HOME > ABOUT WMU > WMU NEWS Art by WMU students exhibited at MSU law collegeMarch 9, 2005 KALAMAZOO--A free art exhibit at the Michigan State University College of Law in East Lansing includes about 45 photographs, digital designs, drawings, paintings and prints by art students from Central Michigan, Michigan State and Western Michigan universities. Works by 16 WMU graduate and undergraduate art students were competitively selected for exhibition on the third and fourth floors of the law college building. The collaborative effort among the three schools began in September, and the exhibition is open to the public 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through April 30. The exhibition is in conjunction with Hankins Gallery of East Lansing, and periodically, selected works are rotated from the law college to the gallery for display. Included in the exhibit are works by WMU graduate art students Brent Boswell, Kathleen Murphy, Renee Smith, Patrick Trimbath and D. S. Wade. Undergraduates whose works were selected are Danielle Barkoski, Kelly Birg, Brikena Boci, Amy Czajkowski, Erin LaRocque, Lauren Lutz, Brent Michalak, Brad Post, Brandi Reed, Tina Tabulog and Vivek Wu. WMU participation was supervised by Vince Torano, associate professor of art and graduate advisor in the School of Art, and coordinated by Debra Wade, director of the WMU Student Art Gallery.
