WMU HOME > ABOUT WMU > WMU NEWS GC II spring concert is freeMarch 27, 2005 KALAMAZOO--GC II, a 20-voice vocal jazz ensemble, which is part of Western Michigan University's internationally acclaimed Gold Company Vocal Jazz Program, will present its free spring concert Tuesday, April 5, at 8:15 p.m. in the Dalton Center Recital Hall. The concert will feature songs from Earth, Wind & Fire and James Taylor, as well as the New York Voices arrangement of "Caravan" and a new vocal arrangement of "Rubaio" by GC II assistant director, Mimi Rohlfing. The evening's festivities will include GC II, the GC II band, the GC II sextet, and other specialty acts. GC II is directed by Kelly Ann Westgate, a part-time faculty member in the School of Music.
