Womyn's Equality celebrates choice with Friday rallies

KALAMAZOO--Womyn's Equality, a student organization at Western Michigan University, is sponsoring a series of rallies to "Celebrate Our Choice" from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Friday through June at the entrance to Planned Parenthood of South Central Michigan, 4201 W. Michigan Ave., Kalamazoo.

The weekly rallies are intended to "demonstrate support for the right to choose and for the Planned Parenthood staff," according to Heather Wolf, co-chair of Womyn's Equality.

The rallies are held every Friday, except during severe weather, says Wolf, who expects the weekly gatherings to continue through the end of June and possibly beyond.
