President answers grad student questions Wednesday

April 12, 2005

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University President Judith I. Bailey and Dr. Linda M. Delene, WMU provost and vice president for academic affairs, will be on hand to answer questions at a forum for graduate students from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, in Putney Auditorium at the Fetzer Center.

The event is being coordinated by GSOC, Graduate Students of Color, and GSAC, Graduate Student Advisory Committee. The forum will address issues relating to the WMU Graduate College and Faculty Senate recommendations for the college.

"It's an opportunity before the semester ends to ask questions and voice concerns over what's going on with the Graduate College," says Andrea Juarez, GSOC president and a GSAC member. Juarez is organizing the event along with Todd Ide, GSAC president.
