Free hearing evaluations and hearing aid checks are being offered to the WMU and KCMS groups mentioned from 3 to 5 p.m. each Wednesday beginning May 11 and continuing through Aug. 10. To schedule an appointment, call (269) 387-8047. The purpose of the hearing evaluations will be to rule out or correctly identify the presence of any significant hearing loss. The hearing aid check is designed for people who currently use hearing aids and need to keep them functioning appropriately to obtain their full benefit. If needed, center staff will provide suggestions to help reduce the communication problems associated with hearing loss. Media contact: Mark Schwerin, 269 387-8400, mark.schwerin@wmich.edu WMU News |
