An open meeting for students is set for 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, in Room 204 of the Bernhard Center. A meeting for faculty and staff will follow in the same location at 4 p.m. Consultant-evaluators representing the commission will be on campus to review progress since 2001 in the areas of institutional strategic planning and assessment of student achievement. Their focused visit is a follow-up to a 2001 full site visit by the commission in connection with a regular reaccreditation review. At the open forums, the team members are expected to focus on the questions of integration and planning among and within units, participation of constituents in planning, and the extent to which a culture of assessment pervades campus.
