Harper earns design honorsNov. 7, 2005 KALAMAZOO--Sheri Harper, interior designer with remodeling services at Western Michigan University, won top honors for two campus design projects during the 2005 meeting of the Association of University Designers held recently at the University of Kentucky. Harper received a first place design award in the new construction category as well as a "Best in Show" nod for her design work on the WMU-Southwest facility on the campus of Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor, Mich. The facility was opened in 2002. She also won a first place design award in the category of renovations over $150,000 for her work on campustrends, the new WMU women's apparel store on the lower level of the Bernhard Center.
