Wagner, associate professor of management at Western Michigan, has been invited to travel to Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo this December to make a presentation on his work. Wagner is co-author of the textbook "Concepts in Enterprise Resource Planning," which was released in April as a second edition. Two faculty members at the Tokyo school who translated the first edition are also translating the second edition into Japanese. They received a grant to bring Wagner and his co-author, Ellen Monk of the University of Delaware to the Tokyo campus for a presentation on ERP systems. A WMU faculty member since 2000, Wagner directs WMU's Integrated Supply Matrix Management Program. His areas of expertise include production planning, supply chain management and ERP systems.
