Dinner precedes premiere of Great Works in Dance

KALAMAZOO--Partners in Dance and Dean Margaret Merrion of the Western Michigan University College of Fine Arts will serve as hosts for a dinner prior to the Saturday, Feb. 4, opening performance of the Great Works in Dance and Music Gala Concert.

Among those expected to attend the dinner are WMU President Judith I. Bailey and guest artists Dianne McIntyre, Lou Conte, Victoria Simon and Jessica Lindberg.

The dinner will be held at the WMU Fetzer Center, and begins with a cash-bar reception at 5 p.m. The buffet dinner begins at 6 p.m., and a short program featuring President Bailey and the guest artists will follow the dinner.

The cost for the dinner is $55 for members of Partners in Dance and $65 for non-members and includes a ticket to the concert, which begins at 8 p.m. in Miller Auditorium.

Reservations for the dinner are required by Wednesday, Jan. 25, and may be made by calling the Department of Dance at (269) 387-5830.
