Showtimes are Friday and Saturday, 7 and 9:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 and 5 p.m. General admission is $5 and $3 for students. Martin wrote the screenplay for "ShopGirl" based on his novella by the same name. Danes plays Mirabelle Buttersfield, an aspiring artist stuck in a dead-end job at the glove department of Saks Fifth Avenue. Desperately lonely, she meets Jeremy (played by Jason Schwartzman), a well-meaning but less than romantic musician. She then falls for Ray Porter (played by Martin), a wealthy divorcee who's many years older than she is. Eventually, Mirabelle realizes that "relationships don't always fit like a glove" (the film's tagline), and she must choose between Jeremy and Ray." Released in 2005, "Shopgirl" is rated R for sexual content and language and has a runtime of 104 minutes. The Little Theatre is located at the corner of Oakland Drive and Oliver Street on Western Michigan University's East Campus. There is free off-street parking behind the theatre.
