Tuesday presentation focuses on women's health

May 15, 2006

KALAMAZOO--A talk that will answer many of the questions women have about their health is being presented at Western Michigan University in observance of Women's Health Week, May 14-20.

Dr. Cathy Cheron will speak at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, at the WMU Unified Clinics at 1000 Oakland Drive. Her presentation, which is free and open to the public, is titled "Questions Women Ask the Most: What Every Woman Wants to Know But Is Afraid to Ask."

"Treating women--mind, body, and soul" has been Cheron's credo during her years of work as a physician focusing on women's health. Cheron is known for her strong connections to patients and the extra attention they receive in her care. She believes that what goes on in a woman's life outside the doctor's office has a great impact on what goes on inside the doctor's office.

Cheron is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her office is located on the third floor of the WMU Unified Clinics.
