Listed below are Memorial Day weekend hours for selected university offices and services. Faculty, students and the public are encouraged to call ahead to make sure that a particular office on campus is open. For emergencies only, contact WMU Public Safety at (269) 387-5555. Admissions office is closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday, May 27-29. Bernhard Center is open reduced building hours Friday, May 26, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, May 27, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, May 28, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and is closed Memorial Day. Bronco Mall in the Bernhard Center is closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Computer lab in the Bernhard Center is closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday, May 27-29; computer lab in UCC is open Saturday, Sunday and Monday, noon to 5 p.m. The computer Help Desk is closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Student Recreation Center is closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday, May 27-29. Sindecuse Health Center, including the pharmacy, is closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday, May 27-29. Medical emergencies should be referred to local hospitals or other health care providers. Waldo Library is open normal hours, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, May 27, and is closed Sunday and Monday, May 28-29. West Hills Athletic Club is open reduced hours, 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, May 26, and 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, and is closed Sunday and Monday, May 28-29. To reduce energy costs while the university is closed, heating and cooling systems in all office and classroom buildings controlled by the Niagara Building Automation System will be in "holiday mode" throughout the weekend. Air handlers will not run during this time, unless a space is exempt from the program.
