Booth applications due for Bronco Bash

Aug. 3, 2006

KALAMAZOO--Booth applications are due now for Bronco Bash, the annual event welcoming more than 20,000 Western Michigan University students back to campus and to Kalamazoo for the start of the new school year.

Bronco Bash 2006, "A Refreshing Blast," is Friday, Sept. 8, from 3 to 9 p.m. and will be held for the first time on the West Campus Promenade between Haenicke Hall and the Campus Flagpoles.

More than 120 WMU student organizations and departments and about 50 area businesses and agencies met the July 28 early registration deadline for booth space, and a late fee now applies. Separate booth applications are available for "affiliates" and "non-affiliates." Affiliates include WMU Registered Student Organizations, departments and offices. Local businesses and agencies should complete a non-affiliate application.

In addition to about 200 information booths and food vendors, Bronco Bash will again feature live music with a performance by the WMU Pep Band followed by local bands Figure It Out, A Fell Down Parade, The Cobalt Party Revolution and Down the Line.

More information and booth applications are available at broncobash.wmich.edu or by calling the Bronco Bash office at (269) 387-0083.
