Alba F. "Polly" PollardSept. 10, 2006 Alba F. "Polly" Pollard, a retired financial aid officer from Western Michigan University, died Aug. 30. She was 92. Pollard was a financial aid officer in the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships from 1973 until her retirement from WMU in 1984. She was born in Detroit and was a longtime Kalamazoo area resident, holding membership in St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church. Services for Pollard were held at St. Catherine's Sept. 1.
