Monday's flu immunization clinic canceled

KALAMAZOO--Due to manufacturing delays on injectable influenza vaccine, the Sindecuse Health Center at Western Michigan University has canceled its outreach clinic for WMU retirees and emeriti, scheduled for Monday, Oct. 10.

Instead, the live, intranasal influenza vaccine, or FluMist, will be offered to eligible students, faculty, staff and retirees at the WMU Health and Wellness Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17.

Sindecuse has not canceled the previously announced general campus outreach vaccination clinic from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, in 157 Bernhard Center.
