Kathy Corder remembered at Dec. 2 serviceNov. 21, 2006 KALAMAZOO--Family and friends will remember Kathy Corder during a memorial service Saturday, Dec. 2, at 2:30 p.m. in Kanley Chapel at Western Michigan University. Following the service, a reception will be held at the Lee Honors College. WMU associate director of student academic and institutional research, Corder died Nov. 4 at age 52 following a long battle with breast cancer. Services were previously held for her in Illinois, where she was buried. She came to WMU in 1995 with her husband, Kevin Corder, chair of the WMU Department of Political Science.
