Reception set for ten HarmselDec. 5, 2006 KALAMAZOO--Members of the Western Michigan University community are invited to attend a retirement reception for Dr. Larry ten Harmsel, dean of the Lee Honors College, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, in the Oaklands. A professor of English, ten Harmsel is retiring after 33 years of service to the University. He came to WMU as an assistant professor of humanities in 1974, following serving for three years as an assistant professor of English and director of university honors at Marshall University.
