Female orgasm is focus of Womyn's Equality program

Jan. 9, 2007

KALAMAZOO--"To fake or not to fake" will be among the questions answered in a presentation on "The Female Orgasm" at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 16, in Room 208 of the Bernhard Center at Western Michigan University. The program is open to the public free of charge and is intended for both women and men.

Marshall Miller and Dorian Solot, nationally-known sex educators who have given more than 250 presentations around the country, will discuss the subject of the female orgasm. Their talk will provide information for women who aren't having orgasms and for those who want to make their female partners happy, as well as debate the existence of the "G-spot" and whether or not to fake an orgasm. In addition, the presenters will address sexual health and sexual decision-making and present an opportunity for questions.

Miller and Solot's book "I Love Female Orgasm: From Right There to 'Oh, Yeah!'" will be published in April.

"The Female Orgasm" is sponsored by WMU student organization Womyn's Equality.
