Staff award nominations dueFeb. 13, 2007 KALAMAZOO--Nominations for the spring round of Western Michigan University's semiannual Make a Difference awards are due by Wednesday, Feb. 28. Every fall and spring, semiannual awards are presented to a maximum of 15 people. Those selected receive a certificate and a $250 prize and are recognized at a special reception. They may win the award more than once, but are limited to one award per academic year. Annual Make a Difference awards, which include a $1,000 prize, go to each year's four most outstanding semiannual award winners. Make a Difference is a campuswide peer-to-peer program that recognizes WMU staff members for their accomplishments and daily investment of energy and creativity. It features semiannual and annual awards that go to non-faculty employees who provide exceptional services to the University.
