University Concert Band performs spring openerFeb. 15, 2007 KALAMAZOO--The 75-member University Concert Band from Western Michigan University's School of Music will open its spring concert series with a performance at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, in Miller Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public. Under the direction of School of Music faculty member David Montgomery, the University Concert Band will perform the wind ensembles of such accomplished composers as Saint-Saens, Jager, Ticheli, Williams and Tull.
