'Queen of the D-List' Kathy Griffin comes to Miller

March 22, 2007

KALAMAZOO--Fresh from the second season of her hit Bravo series, "My Life on the D-List," Emmy-nominated comedian Kathy Griffin will be at Western Michigan University for a single performance at 8 p.m. Friday, March 30, in Miller Auditorium.

Griffin leaves no star unscathed in her sharp stand-up routine. She skewers celebrity culture with great confidence, and dishes up all the dirt on Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Star Jones, and the other tabloid stars.

Perhaps best known for playing Brooke Shields' colleague on the sitcom "Suddenly Susan," Griffin's credits include HBO's "Hot Cup of Talk" and Bravo's "Kathy Griffin is not Nicole Kidman." She has made guest appearances on "Seinfeld," "The Drew Carey Show," "ER," and "Mad About You," and has been in several films, including "Pulp Fiction," "Four Rooms" and "The Cable Guy."

Tickets for Kathy Griffin at Miller Auditorium are on sale now and range from $15 to $35. They are available by calling (269) 387-2300 or (800) 228-9858, online at www.millerauditorium.com, or by visiting the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office or the Epic Center Box Office in downtown Kalamazoo. Groups of 20 or more should call (269) 387-2312 for special discounts.
