The Music Therapy Clinic operates under the auspices of the WMU School of Music. Services are provided for residents of Kalamazoo and the surrounding region based on self-referral or referrals made by family members, educators or health professionals. Under the direct supervision of board-certified music therapists, undergraduate and graduate student clinicians use music-based interventions to target both musical and non-musical objectives.
