Kalamazoo Collective opening second co-op houseMay 8, 2007 KALAMAZOO--Kalamazoo Collective Housing is holding an information meeting about plans to open a second community housing co-op in Kalamazoo's Vine Neighborhood. The meeting is open to the public and will take place at Meristem Co-op, 113 W. Dutton St., at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 10. The new house is located at 302 W. Walnut St., and has eight bedrooms, two bathrooms and off-street parking. It is easy walking distance from downtown Kalamazoo and there is ready access to Metro Transit. More details, including monthly fees, will be available at Thursday's meeting. The event is sponsored by Meristem Co-op, a registered student organization of Western Michigan University.
