WMU Home > About WMU > WMU News Employees honored at annual awards luncheonMay 31, 2007 KALAMAZOO--Five Western Michigan University employees have been recognized for making significant contributions to the University. The staff members were honored May 18 at the Spring Awards Luncheon sponsored by the Administrative Professional Association and the Professional Support Staff Organization. The annual event brings together WMU's two nonbargaining employee groups to celebrate the hard work and dedication of University staff members. Those attending the APA/PSSO luncheon were encouraged to don WMU apparel, in keeping with this year's theme Wonderful World that is Western!, and were treated to the antics of the University's mascot, Buster Bronco.
