Adeline ThorpeAug. 17, 2007 Adeline Thorpe, a Western Michigan University staff member for more than 20 years, died July 16 in Kalamazoo. She was 85. Thorpe came to WMU in 1963 and retired as a custodian in 1984. Before joining WMU's staff, she served briefly in the Women's Army Corp.
