Recreation center closed for annual maintenanceAug. 21, 2007 KALAMAZOO--The Student Recreation Center at Western Michigan University is closed for its annual maintenance, cleaning and student training to prepare for fall semester. The center will reopen Sunday, Sept. 2, from noon to 5 p.m., will be closed Monday, Sept. 3, in observance of U.S. Labor Day, and will begin regular fall semester hours Tuesday, Sept. 4, when the center will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. During the two-week closure, the University Recreation office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays for equipment checkout or to accept faculty and staff fall memberships renewals.
