Dates are also set for the opening of the One Stop Convenience Center, start of fall semester classes, Bronco Bash and CommUniverCity Night Football. One Stop Convenience Center opens Monday, Aug. 27, in the Bernhard Center Ballroom, offering an assortment of student services, including bill payment, parking permits, ID cards and more. Academic advising day for fall semester is Friday, Aug. 31. Labor Day is Monday, Sept. 3. WMU offices are closed. Fall semester begins Tuesday, Sept. 4. Classes begin at 8 a.m. The 27th annual Bronco Bash celebration is from 3 to 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7, on the West Campus Promenade from Haenicke Hall to the Campus Flagpoles. A free and open event, more than 400 student organizations, University departments, community members, local businesses and area restaurants participate to welcome students and the University community to another academic year. One of the biggest annual events in West Michigan, CommUniverCity Night Football, features the WMU Broncos versus Indiana University at Waldo Stadium at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8.
