WMU Home > About WMU > WMU News Bronco Bash is Friday on the PromenadeSept. 5, 2007 KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's 27th annual Bronco Bash celebration is from 3 to 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7, on the West Campus Promenade from Haenicke Hall to the Campus Flagpoles. The free event welcomes WMU students back to campus and to Kalamazoo. More than 400 student organizations, University departments, community members, local businesses and area restaurants are scheduled to participate. A crowd of more than 25,000 is expected for this year's Bronco Bash, which also features novelty attractions such as the "Gyro Extreme" and "Mechanical Surfer." The WMU Pep Band performs at 3 p.m., leading off performances by four pop bands from Michigan and California. Bronco Bash Bands
