WMU Home > About WMU > WMU News African Cultural Night is Saturday in BernhardOct. 22, 2007 KALAMAZOO--The African Students Association of Western Michigan University is presenting its annual African Cultural Night beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, in the Bernhard Center Ballroom on the WMU main campus. "Africa: A Look Into a Promising Future" features dance performances, a variety of African food, a fashion show and brief remarks by guest speakers. African Cultural Night is open to the public and admission is $5 per person. Reservations are not required, but tickets may be purchased in advance in the Bernhard Center's Bronco Mall between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25. The will be an after-party beginning at 10:30 p.m. at Tortilla Flats, 124 Portage Street, Kalamazoo, next to Francois' Seafood and Steak House.
