Admission is $10 and $5 for students. The concert will preview of the group's performances at the International Association for Jazz Education Conference in Toronto Wednesday through Sunday, Jan. 9-13, and proceeds from Monday's preview concert will help students defray the costs of travel to the conference. The program also will include some new music that will be featured at the 30th Anniversary Gold Company Show, Feb. 9, in Miller Auditorium. Invitations to perform at the International Association for Jazz Education Conference are highly prized, in part because of the competitive "blind tape" audition process used to select the handful of ensembles invited.
