WMU has scholarship for Kalkaska County students

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University is accepting applications for a newly established scholarship for students planning to enter the teaching profession.

The College of Education Scholarship for Kalkaska County (Mich.) was created by an anonymous donor to encourage students from the county's high schools to attend WMU. It is available only to graduates of public high schools in Kalkaska County who are or will be full-time undergraduate students pursuing teacher training curricula in WMU's College of Education.

Application information is available at www.wmich.edu/coe/undergrad_sch.htm and incoming students are encouraged to apply. Questions about this or other scholarships available in the College of Education may be directed to the Office of the Dean at (269) 387-2960.
