WMU Home > About WMU > WMU News Tajikistani business leaders here for open forumFeb. 5, 2008 KALAMAZOO--An open forum with business leaders from Tajikistan will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, in 204 Bernhard Center. The question-and-answer session is open to the public free of charge. The delegation of 10 Tajikistani business leaders, representing such fields as auto mechanics, online commerce and promotion, arrived in Kalamazoo Jan. 14 and is remaining through Feb. 16 as guests of Colleagues International, a Kalamazoo-based volunteer organization that promotes international exchange. Friday's forum is being sponsored by the Society for Central Asian Studies, a registered student organization at WMU, in conjunction with the Haenicke Institute for Global Education.
