Trustees reschedule canceled meetingFeb. 7, 2008 KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's Board of Trustees will elect a new board chair and vice chair when it meets in formal session at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, in Room 157 of the Bernhard Center. The meeting was originally scheduled for Feb. 1, but was canceled. The meeting agenda includes consideration of a new WMU/Kalamazoo College collaboration, a recommendation to approve two property leases and proposed adoption of the Kalamazoo County Hazard Mitigation Plan. In addition, trustees will hear reports provided as information items on the University's new Foster Youth Education Initiative, the results of an external auditor annual review and a Returning Veterans Assistance Program launched last year. Trustees also will hear a presentation about the WMU American Humanics Student Association, which recently won a national community service award.
