Basketball versus CMU highlights Women's Sports ExpoFeb. 15, 2008 KALAMAZOO--The Bronco Women's Sports Expo, a fun event for kids of all ages featuring Western Michigan University's varsity women's teams, will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, in University Arena from 1 to 2 p.m. The event culminates with the Bronco women's basketball team taking on Central Michigan University beginning at 2 p.m. in a key game for WMU's division title hopes. Admission for the day includes both the game and expo. Tickets are just $3 each if purchased by Friday, Feb. 22, using promotional code "EXPO" and may be ordered online at wmubroncos.com or by calling toll-free (888) 4-WMU-TIX. Held in conjunction with National Girls and Women in Sports Day, the expo is an opportunity to meet coaches and student-athletes from WMU varsity women's teams. The event includes sport-related activities, autographs, a balloon artist and more. It's also Mascot Day, with mascots from area businesses and professional teams competing in a basketball scrimmage at halftime of the game.
