Concert highlights WMU Christian ministries

April 7, 2008

KALAMAZOO--Two campus Christian organizations will come together at Western Michigan University for a collaborative event to celebrate both ministries.

The Voices of WMU Gospel Choir and Alpha Omega Co-Ed Christian Fraternity are sponsoring a free public concert and ball, titled "Fusion: It's a God Thing," Saturday, April 12, from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Fetzer Center. The night will feature music, dancing, fellowship and ministry as the two organizations highlight accomplishments during the most recent school year.

"I am ecstatic about what is going to take place at this event," says Marqetta Kirk, an elementary education and Spanish senior and president of the Voices of WMU Gospel Choir. "Alpha Omega's Annual Ball with the Voices of WMU's Spring Concert will be something original, different and exciting. It will surely be an eclectic night.
