Prospective students invited to aviation open houseApril 9, 2008 BATTLE CREEK, Mich.--An open house for students across West Michigan will be held Wednesday, April 16, at Western Michigan University's College of Aviation at W.K. Kellogg Airport in Battle Creek. Students from more than 75 schools have been invited to attend the event set for 6 to 8 p.m. in the Aviation Education Building. Activities will include a talk by the college's interim dean, Capt. David Powell, and presentations by members of the WMU admissions and financial aid staff. Tours of the college facilities will be offered and a question-and-answer session will take place. Additional presentations will be made by a college faculty member and a member of the college services staff. Prospective students who wish to attend are encouraged to register for the event by going online to www.wmich.edu/aviation/house.php or by calling the college's Welcome Center at (269) 964-6375.
