Totals of gifts highest in four yearsMay 6, 2008 KALAMAZOO--According to a report at the May 2 meeting of the Western Michigan University Board of Trustees, WMU has received $13,322,310 in gifts since the July 1, 2007, start of the current fiscal year. The total through March 31 represents an increase of more than $4 million or 43 percent over the amount received during the same nine months of the previous fiscal year. It is also the largest total for gifts in the same nine months of any fiscal year since 2003-04, which was the final year of the University's centennial capital campaign.
