Gifts to WMU up 28 percent for yearJune 27, 2008 KALAMAZOO--According to a report at the June 13, meeting of the Western Michigan University Board of Trustees, WMU received $14,805,744 in gifts from the July 1, 2007, start of the current fiscal year through May 31. The total represents an increase of more than $3.3 million or 28 percent over the amount received during the same 11 months of the previous fiscal year.
