Special offer to students for WMU at Ford Field

Sept. 2, 2008

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's football Broncos will play a special "home" game at Ford Field in Detroit at noon Saturday, Nov. 8, versus the University of Illinois, and WMU students can purchase discounted tickets and get free bus transportation to and from the contest.

Currently enrolled WMU students can purchase one game ticket at the special price of just $15. They can purchase additional student guest tickets for $22 each, with reserved adjacent seats.

Free bus transportation to and from Ford Field, home of the NFL Detroit Lions, will be available to the first 500 students who register for the bus when purchasing a game ticket. Both the special ticket price and free transportation are available only to WMU students, and only on tickets purchased through the WMU Athletic Ticket Office.

Students need to have their WIN numbers handy when ordering. Tickets can ordered online at wmubroncos.com, or by calling (269) 387-8092 or by visiting the ticket office, located at the west end of Waldo Stadium. Regular ticket office hours are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays.

All students who purchase tickets through this special offer will be entered automatically in drawings to win official Bronco apparel. Winners will be contacted in November.

Go to wmubroncos.com/fordfield for more information.
