Producing oil from algae discussed TuesdaySept. 24, 2008 KALAMAZOO--A forum on alternative energy, specifically oil produced from algae, will take place Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. in Room 2303 of Sangren Hall at Western Michigan University. Three WMU faculty members will discuss alternative energy issues, including Dr. Don Cooney, associate professor of social work, Dr. Sarah Hill, assistant professor of anthropology, and Dr. John Miller, associate professor of chemistry.
