Only days remain for sweet Ford Field deal

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University students purchasing a specially priced ticket to the Broncos' "home" game versus Illinois at Ford Field can also take advantage of a free package that includes bus transportation, a meal voucher and a special game-day T-shirt, but only if they sign up by Friday, Oct. 17.

The Broncos are the home team in the game at Ford Field in Detroit, with kickoff at noon Saturday, Nov. 8, versus Big Ten Conference team Illinois. WMU students can purchase one game ticket at the special price of just $15.

Free transportation to and from Ford Field, home of the NFL Detroit Lions, will be available to the first 500 students who register for the bus when purchasing a game ticket. The package also includes a complimentary meal voucher and free T-shirt. Both the special ticket price and free package are available only to WMU students, and only on tickets purchased through the WMU Athletic Ticket Office.

Students will be able to purchases game tickets after Oct. 17 at the $15 price, but the free package will no longer be available. After that date, WMU must release any unreserved buses.

Students need to have their WIN numbers handy when ordering. Tickets can be ordered online at wmubroncos.com/fordfield or by calling (269) 387-8092 or by visiting the ticket office, located at the west end of Waldo Stadium. Regular ticket office hours are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays.

All students who purchase tickets through this special offer will be entered automatically in drawings to win official Bronco apparel. Winners will be contacted in November.
