Business college hosts faculty development series

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University faculty members are invited to attend a series of seminars presented by the College Faculty Enhancement Committee in the Haworth College of Business.

The first seminar is 9:30 to 11 a.m. this Friday, Oct. 17, in Room 3350 of Schneider Hall. The session, with Dr. Andrew Targowski, professor of business information systems, is "Publishing in 2009 in a Time of Crisis and Change: Are Your Drawers Full?"

Subsequent seminars

  • 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 3350 Schneider Hall: "Entrepreneurship and Innovation in a Time of Crisis and Change" with Dr. K.C. O'Shaughnessy, professor of management.
  • 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2145 Schneider Hall: "Internationalizing Your Courses," with Dr. Zahir Quraeshi, professor of marketing, and panelists.
  • 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16, 3350 Schneider Hall: "Do We Teach the Right Stuff in a Time of Crisis and Change," with panelists Drs. Christopher Korth, professor of finance and commercial law, Robert Landeros, professor of management, Stephen Newell, chair of the WMU Department of Marketing, and Targowski.
