Gifts down from last year

KALAMAZOO--According to a report at the Wednesday, Feb. 4, meeting of the Western Michigan University Board of Trustees, WMU received $5,918,356 in gifts during the first six months of the 2008-09 fiscal year, July 1 to Dec. 31.

The amount received this year represents a decline of $4.2 million compared to the same period for 2007-08.
