Anthology of German music performed in DaltonMarch 17, 2009 KALAMAZOO--Collegium Musicum, an ensemble dedicated to the pursuit of historically accurate performance, will present an "Anthology of German Music from the 12th to the 20th Century" at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, in the Dalton Center Recital Hall at Western Michigan University. The concert is open to the public free of charge. The ensemble's 10 instrumentalists will play on period instruments including recorders, crumhorns, sackbuts, viols, vielles, lute, harpsichord, and chamber organ. The chorus of 16 singers will perform a variety of works from chant, minnesinger lied, the "Carmina Burana" manuscript, Renaissance songs, and other works up to the 20th century.
