Friday is registration deadline for WMU DayMay 4, 2009 KALAMAZOO--Friday, May 8, is the final day to register for WMU Day at the Capitol and be guaranteed a WMU T-shirt, optional bus transportation from Kalamazoo and box lunch, all free of charge.
More than 600 students, alumni, staff, faculty and friends of the University have already registered--about 100 more than had registered at this time one year ago for the first WMU Day. WMU Day at the Capitol is Wednesday, May 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the front lawn of the state Capitol in Lansing. It will feature interactive and hands-on exhibits and a live vocal performance showcasing the talents and success of WMU students, faculty and staff. Registrations will continue after the Friday deadline, but those registering after May 8 will not be guaranteed a free T-shirt, box lunch or optional bus transportation from Kalamazoo.
