Golf league to start soonMay 7, 2009 KALAMAZOO--The summer golf season is here, and Western Michigan University is again having its Tuesday intramural league at the Prairies Golf Club, 5303 West Main St., in Kalamazoo. The league, which starts May 26 and ends Aug. 11, is open to students, faculty, staff and alumni as well as friends of the University. The deadline for registering is noon Monday, May 18.
Those interested in joining the league may do so for one of two half seasons that run six weeks each or for one full season of 12 weeks. Tee times will be from 3:50 to 4:16 p.m. or 4:16 to 4:40 p.m. Complete details are available by going to the IM Sports section of the University Recreation Web site and choosing Summer Sports.
