Gifts to WMU surpass $11 million mark for yearJune 5, 2009 KALAMAZOO--According to a report at the Thursday, June 4, meeting of the Western Michigan University Board of Trustees, WMU received $11,408,400 in gifts in the first 10 months of the 2008-09 fiscal year, July 1 to April 30. The amount received this year represents a decline of $2.9 million or 20 percent compared to the same period for 2007-08, but is about $780,000 more than was received during the same 10-month period of 2006-07.
