Bronco football Fan Appreciation Night

Aug. 12, 2009

KALAMAZOO--Gear up for another great season of Western Michigan University Bronco football at this year's Fan Appreciation Night from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, at Waldo Stadium.

During the free event, Bronco fans will have an opportunity to get to know coaches and players. There will be special appearances by Buster Bronco and the WMU Cheer and Dance teams, games, and a gift for every fan through the gate. Jeff Cassidy of WQXC 100.9 FM will make sure the music doesn't stop, and the first 300 fans will be treated to free food and beverages courtesy of EMA enterprises and Coca-Cola.

WMU's Athletic Ticket Office will also be running a select-your-seat promotion that night. Fans can purchase season tickets starting at $55 and hand-pick their seats from the best available at Waldo Stadium.

Free parking is available in Lots 7 and 10. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and fans will need to enter through Gates 2 and 4.

The Broncos kick off the season Sept. 5 at the University of Michigan. The home opener versus Miami University is Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. Season and single-game tickets can be purchased online or by calling the WMU Athletic Ticket Office at (888) 4-WMU-TIX.
